I was really excited when Noah decided he was done with his pacifier and took to the little bear that I had so strategically placed in his crib from day 1. But then the bear quickly took on the role of pacifer too. His little nose gets used and abused every night by my relentless child to the point where we've had to replace said bear twice now. Luckily, I remembered that nana Cathy had originally supplied Noah with his first bear at my baby shower and she has been able to replace him.
Bear #3 just arrived in the mail yesterday -- he had to be special ordered from the store! Thankfully nana ordered an extra one because I'm sure there will be a fourth. Hopefully that will get us through the dreaded crib-to-bed transition...
sorry, #3... you're totally in for it!
I think he actually looks scared.
(we may have to have some kind of bear cemetery for these guys.)

It's like he's asking, Am I really going to eventually look like those guys?!
I think it's hilarious that you saved these to have a side-by-side comparison. What about a little muzzle to protect his nose? Not sure where you would get one that size...
I'm glad you kept #1 and 2. That picture is hilarious. Poor #3, he's really worried. :)
On the day Jonah was born a friend gave him a little teddy bear and Jonah sucked that poor bear to death. So, we went online and bought 6 more to replace the bear with. The only problem was that Jonah found 3 or 4 of the bears before we had hidden them and then refused to let any of them go. Now we have multiple "snuggle bears" floating around the house (I don't think he knows that we still have more put away in storage!).
So happy bear #3 arrived and just in the nick of time!! Good for nana Cathy. But poor bear, it's all down hill from here. If he looks worried, he should be, I'm still picking up little bits of bear stuffing found in the most interesting places all around my house. I also love the easter pictures. So fun to have you all for a visit over Easter.
That's so funny! I'm lucky that Sebastian hasn't become too attached to anything yet. I'm hoping it won't happen. Good luck #3!
Hey Jess. It's Kelli Rowe. I found you through the Halls. I think that picture is so funny. Replacements are definitely smart. I'm going to have to keep that in mind.
like are they the same style bear? and did noah really like....destroy the other ones!?!? haha
Haha. I totally have had to do this with a dog we got her from PBK. Once they are hooked there is no way around it! You gotta stock up! Cute post.
