Anyway, in preparation for baby boy #2 we've been in the middle of some serious home improvement projects... basically just trying to use the space we have better and de-clutter. Although these projects have taken tons of time -- time that we really haven't had lately -- it's been so nice to see it all come together. In fact after we finally got Noah's new toy shelves put together I exclaimed, "This is the happiest I've been in 7 months!" That's seriously pathetic... but oh so true.
(here's a picture... I can't tell you how much I even love cleaning up toys now!)
So, after seeing how happy that made me, the other day I came home from a morning of errands to find this...
and this...
Jon had come home from work after a patient cancelled, put together more furniture and brought me flowers. I was in tears...

awwww, that's really sweet. And you're not pathetic, having a clean and organized space is really important when your home is about to gain another little body...and getting there can be really difficult.
I know what you mean about being crazy--my husband hates pregnancy as much as I do!
You've got yourself a good man though--putting up with the craziness AND putting together furniture!
Wow.
Makes me remember Heather and her hormone infused rages.
I always knew it wasn't my lovely wife during her Hulk moments.
I had to be understanding and loving.
Just remember, you're okay, and you're married to a husband who loves you and understands the human mind, etc.
Jon - the flowers and the furniture - that was smooth and classy
Hey Jess, Nikki here. I too would get excited about something so wonderful as shelves and anything that makes cleaning easier. Love it. Keep on keeping on... it'll be over before you know it and boy #2 will make you forget about this part.
